A lifelong fantasy fan and father of five, RM Powell began writing Bound Beyond Magic from a simple idea:
that we are not defined by what happens to us, but by the choices we make afterward.

His debut series, Bound Beyond Magic, blends dark academia atmosphere, cinematic storytelling, emotional relationships, and morally complex magic into a fantasy world where power always comes with a cost.

When he isn’t writing, he works in the medical field and continues expanding the world of Bound Beyond Magic — its magic, mythology, characters, and the hidden truths that exist beyond the veil.
